Teneu is committed to the principles of social justice. As lawyers, we work for the benefit of the community. We believe in a world where people should always come before profit, and where business provides services to the community in which it works. To do this, we use our expertise in immigration and nationality law to improve access to justice and legal education, as well as taking more direct measures, such as working with partners to raise issues with the Home Office directly in order to effect changes in policy.

improved access to justice

While it is the intention of the Government to make the immigration rules accessible to all who need to use them, over the last 20 years they have become increasingly complex and now act as a barrier to many who live and work in the UK.

Some of the most severe consequences of getting this wrong can result in people losing their right to work and having access to vital services. Families have even been separated as people are required to leave the UK.

We are working with law clinics and legal projects; supporting them in delivering important immigration and nationality clinics, as well as helping them with information packs and other resources.

law as a tool for social change

Law belongs to the community and we believe that it is our duty as lawyers to help empower communities to take responsibility of the law, so that we can create the change that society needs.

Working with partners in Scotland we are always looking for projects to support, using legal methods to craft social change. If you have a project that you think we can help, please do not hesitate to contact us using the form below and we can start working together.
